Part of Suits of Fate — four playing-card royals scattered by fortune — a cruel king, a fallen queen, a soldier-turned-merchant and a wandering teacher — rendered as painterly storybook art statues. Sculpted in a painterly storybook art-statue style with layered weathered textures and rich hand-painted detail. Signature detail: a throne forged from a fanned array of embedded black spade-shaped blades, with a ragged feathered cloak cascading down the throne like dark smoke.
